RIHANNA

Outfit

Barbados-born pop icon Rihanna wore this outfit on stage in 2011 during her ‘Loud’ tour. She partnered with Hard Rock in 2014 for a special “Artist Spotlight” t-shirt and charity initiative.

BLACK SABBATH

Notation

This is a handwritten and signed notation to one of the heavy metal’s all-time greatest anthems – Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man”.

KISS

Guitar

Gene Simmons of Kiss owned, played and signed this “Punisher” bass.

RUN-D.M.C.

Hat

Hip hop icon Darryl “D.M.C.” McDaniels of Run-D.M.C. wore this hat on stage during the group’s 2013 European tour.

THE MISFITS

Guitar

This absolutely amazing “Devastator” bass was owned and played by Jerry Only of punk icons the Misfits. Jerry donated it to the Hard Rock collection in Mexico City.

JOHN LENNON

Personal Item

This sterling silver Cartier cigarette box is one of twelve that were commissioned by John Lennon and Yoko Ono as Christmas gifts for close friends in 1980. Tragically, John never got to give these boxes out personally – he was killed on December 8th that same year.

JIMI HENDRIX

Belt

This beaded belt belonged to the most important and influential electric guitarist who ever lived – Jimi Hendrix. He wore it in late 1968.

BOB DYLAN

Jacket

The quintessential troubadour/poet, Bob Dylan’s influence is nearly impossible to overstate. Johnny Cash, John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix all worshiped the man, and anyone writing popular music with a lyrical content beyond “You’re my baby” owes him a debt. Touted as the voice of a generation in the ’60s (a label he rejected), Bob was instrumental in dragging the intellectual coffee house folk scene into the electric future. Dylan owned this leather jacket in the 1980s.
