Vest

Guitarist and founding member of the Rolling Stones, Brian Jones, owned this stylish vest in the late ‘60s. Though he was a key part of the Stones’ success, Brian was dismissed from the group in the summer of ’69 and died just a few weeks later.

George Harrison

Beatles Fax

In the mid ‘90s, George Harrison sent this fax to rockabilly legend Carl Perkins discussing playing on Carl’s upcoming album. In it, he mentions having just returned from India after working with sitar icon Ravi Shankar.

Jimi Hendrix

Velvet Jacket

This incredible velvet jacket was worn on stage by Jimi Hendrix Experience bassist Noel Redding. He purchased it in Los Angeles while on tour with Hendrix in 1968.

Eagles guitarist and solo star Joe Walsh wore this shirt often in the ‘70s. It was handmade by “General Jackett” – a designer who crafted stylized t-shirts for Joe and other artists. The unique Fender Telecaster on display was used on stage by Joe during the Eagles’ world tour in 2002.

This incredible B.C. Rich Bich guitar was used extensively by original Danzig guitarist John Christ throughout the early days of the group. It can be heard on the band’s debut album and seen in the various videos from the era.

John Lennon

Contract

This is a publishing agreement, signed by John Lennon, for the Beatles hit “Rocky Raccoon”. Though the song was written by Paul McCartney, John and Paul agreed to split all songwriting royalties evenly – regardless of the song’s author. The wooden spoon on display was signed by both John and Yoko.

Rolling Stones

Trousers

These amazing trousers were worn by both Keith Richards and Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones. They were originally owned by country/rock pioneer Gram Parsons; who gifted them to Keith when they were hanging out in the early ‘70s recording the Stones’ seminal ‘Exile on Main St.’ album.
