“My son, Noah, had his Bar Mitzvah celebration at the Hard Rock Cafe-Hollywood Boulevard (HR-HB) last Saturday night. It was definitely the best night of his life to date, and that it will always remain one of the best of mine.
What a venue! The HR-Hollywood Blvd. is a gorgeous space, with a fabulous stage and sound system, awesome electronic “goodies,” and the exciting memorabilia we’ve come to expect from HR. That alone makes it an excellent choice for any event, of course, but there was a more personal connection for our family. Noah has grown up visiting one Hard Rock or another, rockin’ out while enjoying buffalo wings, salads, and burgers. On top of that, he is a musician; Noah plays five instruments and writes his own songs, but his primary passion is playing guitar while singing classic rock ‘n roll. From the moment he first considered that he would some day have a Bar Mitzvah, he knew that, if we could afford it, he wanted his party at the Hard Rock Cafe.
My guests could not stop raving about the service or the fabulous venue; the food was excellent, and the adults enjoyed their buffet, then raided the kids’, as well. Our DJ, Timbo, kept the dance floor crowded and Kyla and the HR staff followed my husband, sons, and me around with water to keep hydrated (or whatever else we wanted). Most importantly, for all their catering to me and our guests, the entire staff kept sight of the fact that this was NOAH’s night. Shane treated Noah like a rock star, ushering him through the crowd for his grand entrance onstage, and later presenting him with a Hard Rock Café jacket, stitched with his name and the date (Noah has practically lived in it ever since).
Everyone was engaging, accommodating, energetic. From the guard at the front, to the bartenders who group-high-fived my husband, to the servers who could not do enough for our friends, to the gentlemen sweeping up confetti at 1:00am, to Marie pitching in to help us figure out how to dismantle the drums, to Kyla and Stephanie escorting us to our cars when we finally said goodbye - every single person with whom we interacted at the Hard Rock was kind, animated, solicitous, and FUN! They made Noah’s dream, and therefore my husband’s and my dream, come true, and we will always be grateful.
Thank you for what was, literally, an event of a lifetime.”
