JOHN ENTWISTLE

The Who

Formed in 1964 in London, England, legendary Rock Band The Who are one of the key players of the English Invasion and MOD Movement of the 1960s. In concert, the group based their rhythm on Townshend's guitar, but in the recording studio Townshend pushed them toward a sonic force. The black Fender on display was signed and donated to Hard Rock Cafe by the late who bassist John Entwistle.

THE ROLLING STONES

The Rolling Stones

Dubbed the "World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band" in the late 1960s, the Rolling Stones offered a more dangerous alternative to the clean-cut image of the Beatles, drawing on influences from blues artist, such as Muddy Waters. This Fender Stratocaster guitar was signed by the members of the British Invasion group.

The Police

New wave group The Police performed in the 2008 Venice, Italy, "Heineken Jammin' Festival". This red Dolphin guitar was signed by Andy Summers.

The Beatles

This Snare drum was signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison e Ringo Starr.

SHAKIRA

Shakira

Latin pop sensation, Shakira is best known for her poetic lyrics and rock influenced approach. In 2001 she made her big crossover into the english speaking audience with her album, "Laundry Service". The dress on display was worn by Shakira during the taping of "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno on January 7, 2008. It was acquired by Hard Rock from "Foundacion Pies Descalzos", an organization created by Shakira in her home country to benefit underprivileged children in Colombia.

THE SEX PISTOLS

The Sex Pistols

Legendary Punk Band The Sex Pistols played in the 2008 "Heineken Jammin' Festival" in Venice, Italy. In 1975-1978 infamous singer Johnny Rotten was often seen wearing this black jacket. Tickets on display were autographed by Steve Jones, Johnny Rotten and Sid Vicious.

An early draft of "A Spaniard in the Works". It was written by John Lennon on the back envelope and continued on paper bags.

BON JOVI

BON JOVI

Arena Rock Band Bon Jovi played in Imola, Italy in the "Heineken Jammin' Festival" in 2003. This guitar was donated to Hard Rock and used by Richie Sambora on the band's 2003 "Bounce Tour".

METALLICA

Metallica

This handwritten contract, signed by Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and guitarist James Hetfield, allowed Megaforce Records to release the songs rights to the band's first album, "Kill'em All".
