Benefits
HEALTH & WELFARE
Eligibility
Employees are eligible to enroll in Hard Rock’s health & welfare benefits after satisfying the following requirement:
· 1st of the month following date of hire
When you elect medical coverage, you will also receive Prescription, Life, and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no additional cost.
Domestic Partners
In an effort to meet the demographic needs of our employee population, Hard Rock offers medical/dental coverage to the same-sex partners of our eligible employees.
Dental
In most markets, you will have the option to choose between two types of coverage.
Vision
Elective vision benefits are available to supplement those benefits already covered under the medical plan OR as a stand-alone benefit.
Supplemental Insurance
Salaried employees may elect supplemental life insurance up to 5 times their annual earnings (limitations apply). To take advantage of this benefit, the employee must be enrolled in medical insurance.
Short Term Disability (STD)
STD coverage is provided for all salaried employees at no cost to the employee. You are automatically enrolled the 1st of the month following your hire date, regardless of whether or not you elect medical insurance.
Long Term Disability (LTD)
Salaried employees may elect to enroll in LTD coverage. Should you need to be out longer than 13 weeks, LTD picks up where STD left off. LTD payments are made at 60% of employee’s weekly salary (limitations apply).
TIME AWAY FROM WORK
Vacation/Sick
Vacation and Sick time is available to Hard Rock employees.
401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN
Eligibilty
Employees are encouraged to participate in the Hard Rock FutureCare 401(k) Plan after meeting the eligibility requirement:
· Complete 6 months of service
Hard Rock offers a generous matching formula for those who participate.
