1. How to Enter: The Wayne Brady Hard Rock the House Trip Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) begins on or about January 10, 2003 at 7:00 a.m. PT and ends at 8:59 a.m. PT on February 23, 2003 (“Sweepstakes Period”). Each day of the Sweepstakes Period is defined by Pacific Time (“PT”). To enter the Sweepstakes, access the Hard Rock Café web site at [http://www.hardrock.com] (“Web Site”) and click on the Sweepstakes icon, which will take you to the Sweepstakes home page and entry form. Then, complete and thereafter transmit the entry form. Information required on the entry form (collectively “Entry Information”) consists of your name, address (including zip code), telephone number (including area code), date of birth, and e-mail address (optional) (“Entry”). Limit one (1) Entry per person/household/per email address per day. Entries in excess of the stated limit will be disqualified. Entries must be received by 8:59 a.m. PT on February 23, 2003. All required Entry Information must be completed in full in order for Entry to be eligible. Proof of delivery or receipt of Entry, will not be deemed by Sponsor (defined below) as proof of entry. Any attempted form of entry other than as described herein is void.
2. Eligibility: Open only to persons 18 years of age or older as of January 10, 2003 who are legal residents of the U.S. (50 states and Washington, D.C.), who are physically located and reside therein. Employees and agents of The Wayne Brady Show, Enjoy the Ride Productions Ltd., Buena Vista Television, Hard Rock Café International, Inc.; Hard Rock Academy; Hollywood Records, Inc; Skycastle Entertainment, Inc., Sullivan Compliance Company, participating stations, stations airing the Program, advertising and promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development and handling of Contest, their respective agents, officers, prize suppliers, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “Contest Entities”), and members of their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouses and spouses of siblings) and/or persons living in the same households as such persons, whether related or not, are ineligible to enter Contest and cannot win prizes.
3. Prize/Odds of Winning: One (1) Prize: A trip for winner and one (1) guest (“Guest”) to Los Angeles, California consisting of roundtrip coach air transportation for winner and Guest to Los Angeles from a major commercial airport (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) near winner’s residence in the U.S.; standard hotel accommodations for three (3) days/ two (2) nights; and the opportunity to watch a live taping of the Wayne Brady Show (“Show”) and dinner for winner and guest at the Hard Rock Café, Los Angeles (alcoholic beverages not included; dinner not to exceed $100.) Approximate Retail Value of Prize: $2,500. Actual value will depend upon the point of departure, destination, and fare fluctuations. Air transportation provided only if winner resides more than 100 miles from destination. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Sponsor may choose which taping at its sole discretion, subject to availability and production exigencies. If winner cannot take trip in conjunction with taping of Show, he/she has one (1) year from first date of notification of winning to take trip. In the event that live taping of Show is not available for any reason, then remaining elements of prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor’s obligation to winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Once determined, no extension or change of trip dates permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Trip is subject to air/ground travel availability, hotel availability, holiday and black-out dates and all other prize and travel restrictions, as applicable. Winner and Guest must travel together. If winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses, unless deemed to be the Guest. If Guest is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian, and such person must pay his/her own expenses, unless deemed to be the winner. All other expenses and incidentals not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are winner’s sole responsibility including, but not limited to, taxes, air transfers, government fees, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, hotel incidentals, and telephone calls. No transfer, substitution or cash equivalent for any prizes (or prize components), except at Sponsor's sole discretion, due to prize unavailability for any reason, and only then for a prize (or prize component) of comparable value. Prize notification will be sent to U.S. address only. Any depiction of prize is for illustrative purposes only. All federal, state, and/or other taxes are sole responsibility of winner.
4. Drawing and Notification: One (1) potential winner will be randomly selected in a drawing held on or about March 10, 2003 from among all eligible entries by Sweepstakes Administrator, an independent judging organization. Potential winner (if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be minor, his/her parent/legal guardian) will be notified by phone, mail and/or email within approximately two (2) weeks of the drawing date. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, or if his/her prize/prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
5. General Conditions: Sweepstakes is subject to these Official Rules and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations (collectively “Rules and Laws”). Potential winner (his/her parent/legal guardian, if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor), will be required to sign, execute, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, (where legal) a Publicity Release, and any other documentation that Sponsor may require (collectively “Affidavit/Release”), within five (5) days after receipt (or prior to commencement of prize trip travel, if sooner) or such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. By returning the completed Affidavit/Release, winner attests to the authenticity of his/her winning Entry. If winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, prize will be awarded in the name of his/her parent/legal guardian, who must sign Affidavit/Release on his/her behalf. Guest (Guest’s parent/legal guardian, if he/she is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) will be required to sign, execute, have notarized and return a Liability Release, a Publicity Release, and any other documentation that Sponsor may require within five (5) days of receipt of these documents by potential winner (or prior to commencement of prize trip travel, if sooner). Once submitted, Entries become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Except where prohibited by law and Hard Rock Café’s Privacy Policy located at Web Site, winner's entry and acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sweepstakes Entities to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, and address (city and state) worldwide and in all forms of media, including online, in perpetuity, without further compensation, in connection with the Sweepstakes or the prize awarded. Buena Vista Television, or The Wayne Brady Show has no further obligation to broadcast or otherwise make use of any footage containing winners’ name, photograph, likeness, biographical information, statements, voice and/or address. Sponsor has the right to modify, edit, adapt, electronically alter, use, assign and/or dispose of Entries however it sees fit and for any purpose without any notice or compensation to entrant or any third parties. Any person attempting to defraud Sweepstakes Entities or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be ineligible for a prize and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to suspend, modify or cancel the Sweepstakes or any portion(s) thereof and conduct the drawing from all salvageable eligible entries received, if any. In case of a dispute over the identity of the entrant who submitted the winning Entry, the owner of the email account will be deemed the entrant, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
6. Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for Entries that are illegible, late, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, damaged, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules and all such Entries will be disqualified. By entering Sweepstakes, entrants agree and acknowledge to be bound by the Rules and Laws, as well as the decisions of Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the Rules and Laws, and that Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal injury or death) in connection with: participation in this Sweepstakes; human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry Information; acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of the prize awarded herein; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, internet service provider; interruption or inability to access Sweepstakes or any Web Site or online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrants (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of this Sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Entrants further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Sweepstakes, to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Sweepstakes Entities, and hereby acknowledge that said Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by a prize supplier that may be sent along with a prize.

Rules/Name of Winner: To receive a copy of these Official Rules or the Name of Winner, send a stamped self-addressed envelop to: Wayne Brady Show Talent Search Sweepstakes (working title), “OFFICIAL RULES”/”WINNERS LIST” (specify which), P.O. Box 10831. All requests must be received by March 31, 2003. Name of winner may also be posted on Web Site.
