Joe Rogan is a name synonymous with gross out stunts, high stakes hijinks and MySpace battles with detractors half his age. If Madina Lake has anything to say about it, he’ll soon be forever linked to their band as well.

The Chicago quartet of raw post-hardcore metal mayhem fame owe a debt of gratitude to the former Fear Factor host, but the rest of their recent good fortune has been forged through hard work, endless touring and a true passion for their music. Fueled by a rabid and growing fan base and grounded by a humble and genuine respect for their accomplishments, Madina Lake hope to have the right combination for continued success. And if history is any indication, they’ll do just about anything to reach their goals.

Wondering what four famous guys eat when they're killing time before a show? Find out where Madina Lake spends their time.

Fearless

"They picked us. And we’re like these short, scrawny little dudes. Not the typical jocks that go on the show… And then we wound up going there and winning the whole thing. It kind of jumpstarted the band, financially anyways."

Conspiracy Theory

"A lot of how aliens are running the country. I think he thought George Bush was an alien which maybe isn’t too far off base."

The Rush Job

"We called a guy we knew played guitar in high school and started right away. We felt after the cycle started going… we weren’t really being honest with ourselves. With the music and with the message we were conveying and the image we were portraying."

The Soul of the Lake

"We’re all into philosophy and things like that. All of us have these pretty intense feelings about pop culture and what’s happening in pop culture and how people are obsessing over vanity and obsessing over wealth and are getting further away from things that we feel matter."

The Loss of a Loved One

"It really flips your world upside down… You instantly see the world through different eyes. Completely different eyes. You realize what matters to you, what’s important to you and what’s important in the world."

Do You Feel the Pain?

"It’s probably talking about dealing with the STD’s you can get on the road."
