Originally a small fishing settlement, Dubai was taken over by a branch of the Bani Yas tribe from the Liwa oasis around 1830. This takeover was led by the Maktoum family, who still rule the Emirate today.
While Hard Rock Cafe rules the worldwide rock scene, our restaurant in Dubai is no exception. Drop by for peerless food and entertainment, and explore the myriad of memorabilia pieces that spotlight music history at its finest. Many foreign traders have settled here and called it home, and Dubai now holds a reputation for being the region's leading commercial market.
