There's always something going on at Hard Rock Cafe. Don't believe us? Just check out the Event Calendar to see for yourself. Go on, we'll give you a couple moments. Ya see, we weren't lying. Whether you're at Hard Rock Cafe Rome or Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta, there's gonna be something going on during the week. We just wanted to share some photos of some recent concerts at Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas Strip and Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls, U.S.A.
The Downtown Denver Partnership’s Volunteer Partners of the Year are selected on the basis of their civic leadership and contributions to both the Partnership and Downtown Denver. In that tradition, John Lindsay, a sales manager for Hard Rock Cafe Denver was recently recognized for his work. We just wanted to take a minute to thank John for embodying Hard Rock's philanthropic philosophy and for being such a great guy.
Hard Rock's newest addition to the family is now officially open for business: Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood On Hollywood Boulevard. Yeah, the name's a mouthful, but it's an amazing place, and it is totally going to rock Hollywood. Located at the Hollywood & Highland Center, beside the world-famous Kodak Theater, and just steps away from Grauman’s Chinese Theater and Hollywood’s starry Walk of Fame, the 20,000-square-foot cafe includes spacious seating, a live music area, a vibrant bar and two Rock Shops featuring Hard Rock’s limited-edition merchandise.
Select Hard Rock Cafe’s across the country will “Crank It Up” to raise money for the Flight 93 National Memorial Campaign through August 1. Guests at the Cafes will be asked to round-up their bill to the nearest even dollar amount and/or add an additional amount to their bill to benefit the building of the Flight 93 National Memorial currently under construction in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, where Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. With over 230 musical acts over 12 days, from July 6-July 18, the Ottawa Bluesfest is, year in and year out, one of the best city music festivals in North America. Not strictly a festival of blues music, not that there's anything wrong with that, Ottawa Bluesfest headliners for this year include The B-52s, Jimmy Cliff, The Arcade Fire, Levon Helm Band, Passion Pit, Weezer, Iron Maiden, Furthur, Metric, Santana, and too many more amazing bands to list here. Hard Rock Calling is 3 days of incredible music, great people, and good times, right in the middle of London. One of Europe's best summer music fests, this year's headliners were Pearl Jam, Stevie Wonder, and Sir Paul McCartney. But those superstars weren't the only musicians on hand, as a lot of other bands and the amazing Hard Rock Crew helped make this a weekend to remember for the lucky Londoners and world travellers who trekked it to Hyde Park. Hot on the heels of Everclear and Cowboy Mouth bringing down the square (Celebrity Square in Myrtle Beach, that is), Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach is continuing with its summer concert series this week. Well, all summer long, actually. Hence, the name. Live music is presented nearly every night of the week for the lucky ducks who find themselves in the party environs of Myrtle Beach, either by way of vacation or residence.
To say that Melissa Etheridge has some dedicated fans is like saying that The Rolling Stones had a couple hits. Performing for the 2nd installment of Grammy Artists Revealed series, Hard Rock Cafe New York became, for the night, the place to be for the lucky few Etheridge fans who were able to gain admittance to this exclusive, intimate event. Did they have fun? They were enraptured, entranced, and in Etheridge heaven.
All over the world, this past June 14, Hard Rock Cafes celebrated the anniversary of the day the very first Hard Rock Cafe opened its doors in London, 1971. We call it Founders' Day, and we like to reminisce about the olden days, about those first years in London, having the biggest names in music belly up to the bar to order a pint and some good ol' American grub, having Rita waiting on the likes of Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend.

Hard Rock Cafe Seattle has been open for a little while now (since February, to be exact), but it wasn't until last night that they received their proper grand opening party, replete with delectable eats, amazing music, and great times. What a night it was. From beginning to end, the stars aligned and the lucky invitees participated in and witnessed one amazing moment after another. You may think that's a bit hyperbolic, but believe us when we say, "It rocked!"

Hard Rock Cafe Berlin recently changed addresses, moving onto the Ku'damm to an incredible new location. As with every new opening, Hard Rock loves to celebrate and this time was no exception.

If you guessed that he was raising his voice in song and celebrating the life and times of one Mr. Roy Orbison, then you'd be correct. If you said he was celebrating the 74th birthday of said Mr. Orbison, as well as helping raise money for Musicians On Call, then you'd be even more right.
That's right, everyone. Hard Rock Cafe Berlin is now located directly on the Ku'damm, at Kurfürstendamm 224. The new location incorporates contemporary material, light installations combined with current Berlin architecture trends, giving the restaurant a new look and vibe.

On Monday, April 19th, the guys will make an exclusive appearance at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta in celebration of the band’s latest album Cold Day Memory, which hits store shelves the next day. Following the performance, the band will meet with fans and sign copies of their latest CD, which is, awesomely, included in the price of admission.
March On Stage, Hard Rock's month-long concert series, rocked Hard Rock Cafes around the world to raise money for two amazing charities: Musicians On Call and Bombay Teen Challenge. March On Stage is about helping people, about helping those who make a difference, as well as those who desperately need change in their lives. From hospitals around the United States to the streets of Mumbai, Hard Rock is proud to be a part of organizations that help make a difference.
Franz Ferdinand, one of the best Scottish bagpipe bands to emerge from the U.K. in the past ten years, recently rocked out at Hard Rock Cafe Punta Cana, bringing the hits, the faves, and the people to the streets of Punta Cana. As far as islands go, Scotland and the Dominican Republic are pretty different (one tends to be a little colder, while the other tends to be hit by hurricanes more frequently; we'll let you figure out which is which), but one thing they have in common is a love of great music and good times, and Franz Ferdinand provides that in spades.
Hard Rock's March On Stage, a month-long series of concerts across the world that benefit two amazing charities, rocked out at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood at Universal Studios on March 31, when Ry Cuming, The Sequel, and headliner Alex Band stopped by for a night of rousing music and exceptionally good times. Raising money for Musicians On Call (at all European and Asian shows the charity was Bombay Teen Challenge), the night will help provide music therapy for patients in hospitals throughout the United States.
Hard Rock Cafe Chicago, in conjuction with The MIX 101.9, recently hosted two up-and-coming musicians for a show that was part of Hard Rock's March On Stage program. Helping raise money for Musicians On Call, which provides music therapy at hospitals around the country, March On Stage has been lighting up stages across the world all month long. Now winding down, Hard Rock Cafe Chicago closed out their March On Stage events in style.

Well, just last night, Saving Abel did, indeed, melt the brains of about 2000 spring breakers at Hard Rock Cafe Myrtle Beach, helping to raise money for a great charity, making Tuesday night the night for fun and good times in Myrtle Beach. Whoulda thunk it?

Last night, the chart-topping modern rock band out of Los Angeles, took over Hard Rock Cafe New York to do three things: celebrate the release of their new album Smoke & Mirrors, help Hard Rock kick off our annual March On Stage music series, and to help raise money for Musicians On Call, one of Hard Rock's favorite charities.
Last year, over 150 bands entered Hard Rock's Ambassadors of Rock Battle of The Bands, but only one band got to go to Hard Rock Calling in London's Hyde Park, rocking the same festival as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Neil Young, and The Killers. Rudy Vaughn from Atlanta, GA, survived the 1st round at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta, blasted through the 2nd round of celebrity judges, and then emerged triumphant during the 3rd round, when the public voted on who should go to Hard Rock Calling.
If we had a million dollars, we'd hire Barenaked Ladies to rock at our house all the time. As it is, though, we'll take 'em rocking out at Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls U.S.A. anytime. That's where they set up shop earlier this week for a special lunchtime show presented by Star 102.5-FM (WTSS-FM Buffalo). We just wanted to share some photos from the show.
Shakira is a very busy woman, what with her music career, her philanthropic career, and, we assume, her personal life (though, we don't know how she finds the time). Yesterday, after meeting with the President of the United States (!) and the president of the World Bank Group, Ms. Shakira swung on by Hard Rock Cafe Wasghington D.C. to launch the newest Hard Rock Artist Spotlight series.
After a short hiatus, Hard Rock Cafe Ocho Rios is back in the business of servin' up some of the best damn grub in the Caribbean. That's right, now you can enjoy one of our world famous Legendary Burgers right along with that Red Stripe. Mmmm...Jamaica and Hard Rock...two great tastes that taste great together. Orianthi, the gloriously ascendant guitar player, recently hit up Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood, CA, for an inspired show of insane guitar chops and power pop. Yeah, seems like those things don't really go hand-in-hand, but with Orianthi in the lead, all the elements work together beautifully. If you don't believe that she's a real shredder, just check out this video of her and Steve Vai trading barbs on their respective geetars. Pretty wicked, we say. Here's some pics from the show in Hollywood, where Orianthi also signed and donated the guitar with which she blew everyone's minds that very same evening. Goes to show, something always happening at Hard Rock!

The brand new Hard Rock Cafe Ho Chi Minh City rocked its grand opening recently, with a host of great musicians, VIPs, and all-around awesome people helping to throw down, Hard Rock-style. Celebrating the very first Hard Rock Cafe in Vietnam, the grand opening party featured performances by international superstar, and native son, Kasim and DMC, the original king of rock. We just wanted to share a few photos from the event and thank everyone who attended and everyone who performed, making this one hell of a night, any way you look at it. This Friday, Jan. 29, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville binges on one of the hardest rocking bands around: 7dayBinge. 7dayBinge includes Todd Harrell of 3 Doors Down on bass, Jon Nicholson of the Muzik Mafia on guitar and vocals, Kenny Olson of Kid Rock’s band on lead guitar, and Shannon Boone on drums. This party celebrates the release of their eponymous debut CD. As if you needed more of an incentive to go, opening for 7dayBinge and joining them for the fun will be The Campaign 1984 and BeItTheMeans.
If you are dining at a Hard Rock Cafe in the next couple of weeks, you can round up (crank up) your bill to the nearest dollar, or to whatever amount you'd like, and that extra money will be donated right to Yele Haiti. This charity, founded by Fugee's star and Haiti-born Wyclef Jean, is on the ground right now in Haiti, aiding in the relief and recovery efforts, but they need all the help they can get. This program has just been rolled out, so if your server or bartender is unfamiliar with the efforts, please talk to a manager and crank it up! This Thursday, January 14, starting at 8:00 p.m., Hard Rock Cafe Cayman Islands will rock to the sounds of Vince Neil and drink to his good taste. Believe it. Vince Neil will be hanging out at the Cafe and wants you to join him, to sample his brand new Tres Rios Tequila.

Ya know how that big apple drops toward the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve in Times Square every year? The big NYE apple in the Big Apple? Well, three Hard Rock Cafes are doing something similar, only in our own particular rockin' idiom.
Last night, Gatlinburg rocked with an anniversary party heard far and wide throughout the Great Smoky Mountains. Okay, maybe they didn't hear it in North Carolina, but we can assure you that Hard Rock Cafe Gatlinburg celebrated their 10th anniversary in true Hard Rock style, with good times, great people, and excellent music. What a gorgeous night!
Ace Frehley, one of the founding members of KISS, will be hanging out at Hard Rock Cafe Detroit this Saturday, beginning at 8:00 p.m. What'll he be doing there, you ask? Well, we're glad you asked because it's gonna be awesome! Ace will be taking part in a free autograph signing, as well as meeting and greeting fans, old and new. Ace will also be celebrating the release of his album Anomaly (his first CD of new material in 20 years!), as well as the release of a documentary about Detroit's Cobo Arena, where KISS recorded the bulk of their legendary Alive! album.
So, beginning September 14th, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville is closing down the restaurant for three months for renovations (the Rock Shop, however, will remain open). Normally, with any other business, the employees would probably be out of luck, looking for a new job. But this time, things are different. During renovations, the Cafe will be keeping everyone on the payroll, but with one awesome caveat, as the employees will be loaned out to local charities, lending much needed help to understaffed and overworked organizations.
Now open for business, the brand new Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas, located in the heart of The Strip, is the sensory experience of Las Vegas. The Rock Shop will be open at 9:00 a.m. Vegas time, while the restaurant will open at 11:00 a.m. Vegas time and keep going until 2 in the morning!
This Saturday, August 29th, at 1:00 p.m., Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore and Channel 104.3 will be hosting a pre-party for the Virgin Mobile FreeFest, which is taking place the next day at Merriweather Post Pavillion. Though you can't get tickets for the festival anymore, you can head to Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore on Saturday for your chance to win festival tickets, VIP seats and a meet-and-greet with Taking Back Sunday.
Tomorrow night, newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame member DMC will be hosting a talent showcase for The Purple Project at Hard Rock Cafe Cleveland. The Purple Project’s “Red Carpet Affair” is a talent showcase and fundraiser highlighting the many talents of current and former foster/adopted kids and adults. In addition, a raffle and auction will be held with all proceeds benefiting the Purple Project’s many philanthropic efforts to help the foster/adopted community.
Tonight, August 14th, beginning at 8:00 p.m., Hard Rock Cafe Boston will be celebrating the upcoming Kenny Chesney Sun City Tour, which hits the Gillette Stadium tomorrow. Get ready for Chesney with an exclusive pre-party performance by Josh Thompson and Jimmy Lehoux.
Party like a rock star at Hard Rock! Join Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu this Thursday August 13th, as they host the popular alternative rock band Filter for a special meet and greet with fans. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hawai'i Cultural Capital Coalition, an organization that strives to preserve and promote the rich heritage of Hawai'i by honoring and perpetuating Native Hawaiian culture, preserving the area's historical assets for future generations, and cultivating understanding and appreciation of Hawaiian heritage by residents and visitors alike.
New York City based singer-songwriter Joey DeGraw combines powerful songs with a rootsy rock feel, creating an unmistakable sound. The older brother of platinum recording artist Gavin DeGraw, Joey is a prolific writer and has written with some of the music industry’s top writers, including Joss Stone and Randy Jackson, and has performed alongside Gavin DeGraw and Leslie West.
Currently touring with Jason Mraz, Grooveline Horns are an internationally known and highly sought after three man horn section, and they'll be hitting up Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh tonight for a groovy funk party after their gig with Mraz. From Rob Thomas to Willie Nelson, Blues Traveler to Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, they've played on the same stage with some of the industry's biggest names. If you like your funk hot and wet, then you're gonna dig Grooveline Horns.

Tomorrow night, newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame member DMC will be hosting a benefit show for The Felix Organization at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta. In between recording, performing, and writing, DMC has become an advocate for adoption and foster kids. He is actively involved with The Felix Organization - a nonprofit organization that promotes adoption and works with adoptees and foster children. DMC co-founded the organization after finding out, at the age of 35 that he was adopted. His realization that there are kids out there who are stuck in the foster system or in poor situations prompted him to make a difference.

This Saturday, July 11th, Hard Rock Cafe Niagara Falls presents a free concert at the newly-renovated Falls Street – West End venue, a pedestrian walkway adjacent to the Cafe. Platinum-selling rock band Sugar Ray will be headlining a night of excellent music and good times. Opening for Sugar Ray will be Parachute, Michael Tolcher, and local group The Innocent Bystanders. All over the world, Hard Rock Cafes celebrated Founders' Day, the anniversary of the opening of the very first Hard Rock Cafe in London, which opened its doors on June 14, 1971. As part of the celebration, many cafes offered 71-cent (or euro or pence, depending on location) Legendary Burgers to all civil service employees, including police, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians. Hard Rock employees also dressed up in full- on '70s regalia, sporting brilliant tie-dies and huge bell bottoms, and supplied birthday cake to everyone who came in that day. Good times!

Kate Voegele, singer/songwriter extraordinaire, celebrated the release of her new album, One Fine Mess, last night at Hard Rock Cafe Nashville along with some of her biggest fans. Along with the CD release, everyone, Kate included, watched the season finale of "One Tree Hill," on which Kate has guest-starred recently, playing an aspiring singer.
