The Colonial Zone is a 30 minute taxi ride away from Las Americas International Airport. Once in the city, clear signs will point you in the direction of the Colonial Zone. Get as close as possible to the Isabel la Catolica or Padre Billini streets. From there you will find the main square where the cathedral is located; Hard Rock Cafe Santo Domingo is directly across from it.
Car: Public parking available in the area along the colonial zone on Jose Reyes and Isabel La Catolica among other streets. For visitors, taxi cabs are plentyful and easy to find.
Bus: Not as readily available, but taxis can be taken from any hotel. Be sure to discuss rates beforehand.
