Arctic Monkeys
The Arctic Monkeys were unable to appear in person at the Brit Awards held in Earl's Court on 14 February, 2007. They received their awards for Best British Group and Best British Album via video link in Sheffield. To make their acceptance speeches more unique the group decided to wear several different costumes; on display are three of the costumes.
George Harrison - The Beatles
Letter from George Harrison to Stuart Sutcliffe, postmarked Liverpool Dec. 16, 1960. This letter is a first hand reflection of the events of the Beatles’ early career.
John Lennon - The Beatles
A 1960’s oriental-style teapot and goblets from John Lennon’s house at Kenwood.
Liam Gallagher - Oasis
This is a 1955 Gibson J-45 guitar previously owned by Liam Gallagher. In original condition this J-45 was purchased by Liam around 2002 from Vintage and Rare Guitars in London. It was used on several demo recordings for the Oasis album "Don't Believe The Truth" and specifically on the recording of the Oasis album track "The Meaning Of Soul."

Roger Taylor - Queen
Embracing the exaggerated pomp of prog rock and heavy metal, as well as vaudevillian music hall, the British quartet delved deeply into camp and bombast, creating a huge, mock-operatic sound with layered guitars and overdubbed vocals. This jacket on display was worn by Roger Taylor.
Elton John
In the mid-80's Elton John wore this Alberto Biani tailor-made suit. Since his 1970 breakthrough, John has been able to sustain his popularity, charting a Top 40 single every year from 1970-1996. Some of his most notable songs include, "Your Song," "Rocket Man," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road," and "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me."
Paul Stanley - Kiss
Paul Stanley used this guitar during a KISS concert in 1997. During the concert, he broke the guitar and threw it out into the audience, where Scott Ian, guitarist for Anthrax, caught it.
Mitch Mitchell - Jimi Hendrix Experience
On display is a four piece George Hayman Vibrasonic drum kit that was owned and used by the Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell during the late 1960's.
