ZZ Top
A white fuzzy Bolin electric guitar and bass guitar that were played by Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top. These instruments were featured in ZZ Top’s “Legs” and “Sharp Dressed Man” music videos.

Keith Richards
A velvet coat belonging to Keith Richards, guitarist for the Rolling Stones.  Keith wore this coat onstage while performing on the Stone’s “Steel Wheels” tour.

Jim Morrison
As one of the most legendary figures in rock & roll history, Jim Morrison's poetic music lyrics remain as part of some of the most original rock music ever recorded. On display is a sketch that was drawn by Jim while he attended high school.

Sum 41
The band Sum 41 was formed from members of several local Canadian high school bands, 41 days into the summer of 1996. On display is a bass guitar that Sum 41 bassist, Cone McCaslin played during their “Half Hour of Power” tour in 2000.

Dimebag Darrell
The late Dimebag Darrell of the bands Pantera and Damageplan has become an influential stylist of modern metal music. On display is one of three guitars that the family released to the Hard Rock memorabilia collection after Dimebag was tragically murdered by a crazed fan in 2004.

The Human League
Synth pop’s first international superstars, The Human League were an innovative band that broke into the pop mainstream with synthesizers and electronic rhythms. On display is a keyboard that was used in the writing of the song “Get Carter” off of their LP “Dare.”

Hank Williams Sr.
A 1940’s Gretsch acoustic guitar belonging to Hank Williams Sr. He played the guitar at the home of Vinita Cravens, a longtime promoter of Hank, Elvis Presley and various Grand Old Opry stars. Hank visited Vinita's ailing mother and played guitar for her, leaving the guitar when he had finished.

Stevie Ray Vaughan
Artwork painted by Stevie Ray Vaughan for his 1984 “Couldn’t Stand the Weather” album. The painting bears the same title as the album, and is signed by Stevie in the bottom right corner.

Dixie Chicks
With a modernized country sound, the Dixie Chicks are one of the best-selling groups in country music history. On display is a set of three stage costumes worn by the Dixie Chicks while performing, and a mandolin that was played by band member, Martie Seidel while performing their hit song “Goodbye Earl” during the 42nd Grammy awards in 2000.

Tony Iommi
Black Sabbath's guitarist, Tony Iommi is credited for pioneering guitar riffs that have influenced metal musicians for the past three decades. On display is a guitar that Tony played while recording his solo album "Fused".
