 |  | Jimi Hendrix 1956 Black Gibson Les Paul Custom owned and used by Jimi Hendrix at a show at the Fillmore East on Friday, May 10, 1968.

   |  | Bo Diddley As a live performer, Diddley was galvanizing, using his trademark square guitars and distorted amplification to produce new sounds that anticipated the innovations of '60s guitarists like Jimi Hendrix. This custom "Funk Box" guitar was made for Bo in the mid 1980’s. He used it on stage and signed "From The Man Bo Diddley “98.”

   |  | Eric Clapton By the time Eric Clapton launched his solo career with the release of his self-titled debut album in mid-1970, he was long established as one of the world's major rock stars due to his group affiliations — The Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Blind Faith — which had demonstrated his claim to being the best rock guitarist of his generation. This guitar was used by the legendary Eric Clapton.

   |  | Ray Charles Born on September 13, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois. He Would Later Become One Of The Most Significant Musicians In Rock History. He owned and wore this jacket during stage performances in the ‘90s. Also on display is a Braille manuscript for a Pepsi commercial.

   |  | Patrick Stump - Fall Out Boy This jacket was worn by Patrick Stump in the "This Aint a Scene, Its An Arms Race" video shoot in November 2006. It is a replica of what was worn during "Dance Dance," as they recreated that video in this one.

   |  | Fats Domino The most popular exponent of the classic New Orleans R&B sound, Fats Domino sold more records than any other black rock & roll star of the 1950s. On display are pieces of a piano played by Fats at his birthday party in New Orleans, 1958.

   |  | Cheap Trick Cheap Trick provided the necessary links between '60s Pop, Heavy Metal, and Punk. This 1988 Hamer Checkerboard guitar was used and signed by Rick Neilson. Also on display is a drumkit used for years on stage by Bun E Carlos. The kit is featured on two Cheap Trick releases including “A Special One” and “Rockford.”

   |  | ZZ Top “It is my great pleasure to present the Hard Rock Cafe with my "Toxic Waste Kit." This kit is custom painted to look like yellow wasted drums with various monsters and demons breaking out. It was used during the second and third legs of the Recycler World Tour.” – Frank Beard

   |  | Todd Sucherman - Styx This drum kit was the main kit used on the 2001 tour and was also the 2nd rig used from 2002 to 2007. It was used in numerous gigs ranging from Aruba, US, and Canada and also appeared at the Super Bowl XXXVII performance. Styx went on to become one of the most popular arena rock groups in the ‘70s and ‘80s.

   |  | Cab Calloway One of the great entertainers, Cab Calloway was a household name by 1932, and never really declined in fame. A talented jazz singer and a superior scatter, Calloway's gyrations and showmanship on-stage at The Cotton Club sometimes overshadowed the quality of his always excellent bands. This jacket was worn on stage by Cab Calloway in the late 1940's and early 1950's.
