Hard Rock Gatlinburg Paints It Pink!

Thursday, October 25th, Hard Rock Cafe Gatlinburg held the “Paint It Pink(tober) Party & Rockin’ Silent Auction”. The silent auction included over 20 items from local partners all in the name of a good cause! The Cafe’s radio partner was onsite all afternoon conducting live remote broadcasts. They even had a pink fire truck all the way from Kentucky! The “Guardians of the Pink Ribbon” travel around to raise money and awareness for the various forms of cancer that affect women. Anyone can sign the truck in memory or tribute. The Cafe’s bartender, Tina, signed the pink fire truck in memory of her best friend, and former Hard Rock Cafe Gatlinburg employee, Lisa Lewis, who passed away in 2007 to breast cancer.

The Vice Mayor of Gatlinburg, reading a proclamation by the Mayor, officially proclaimed the month of October “Pinktober” for the City, in honor of the ongoing activations and philanthropic work. Closing out the evening, Nashville recording artist Kimber Cleveland performed in the Cafe’s “Chapel”. For the event and silent auction, HRC Gatlinburg raised $1,300, which will be added to the money raised throughout the month. All monies will be donated to the Thompson Cancer Survival Center, which specifically focuses on the breast cancer and breast health programs. ALL IS ONE.
