The American Indian Veterans Memorial, Inc. (AIVMI) is a native-led organization whose mission is to advocate for a clearer understanding of the involvement of American Indian, Alaska Native, and Pacific Islander veterans in wartime. To help achieve its mission, AIVMI is collaborating with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) to build an American Indian Veterans Memorial Exhibit near the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC to honor our “First American Veterans”. The American Indian Veterans Memorial Exhibit will highlight the bravery, contributions, and sacrifices of the American Indian, Alaska Native, and Pacific Islander veterans during their service in the American military.

These people include women trapped in prostitution, their at-risk daughters and other girls vulnerable to the sex industry, street children who are in danger of being abused and exploited, abandoned and orphaned by AIDs and HIV positive orphans and those addicted to drugs and alcohol.

In support of United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon's Sustainable Energy for All Initiative, Music for Relief and Linkin Park launched the Power the World campaign to help bring clean energy solutions to the 1.3 Billion people worldwide who have no access to electricity.
