Sammy Hagar, aka "The Red Rocker", is best known
for his role as the lead singer of the rock band Van Halen,
starting in 1986. Parting ways with Van Halen in the mid-90's
after many multi platinum albums, Sammy is back on his own
and rockin' with his band Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas. When
not on tour, (which he currently is) you can find him hangin'
out and jammin' with friends at his Cabo Wabo Cantina, sippin'
the smoothest tequila on the planet ...Cabo Wabo Tequila!
Of course, it helps that he owns both the Cantina and Cabo
Wabo Tequila!

John Kalodner, who first began his expansive career in the seventies,
has worked with hundreds of acts, including (in no particular
order) Phil Collins, AC/DC, Peter Gabriel, White Zombie, Cher,
Foreigner, Aerosmith, Shawn Colvin, Bon Jovi, Santana, Iron
Maiden, Asia, Madness, Wang Chung, XTC, Whitesnake, Jimmy Page,
Steve Vai, Berlin and, of course, Sammy Hagar. From his humble
beginnings as a music critic for the Philadelphia Bulletin to
his present position at Columbia Records as West Coast Senior
VP of A&R, Kalodner has always maintained a different mentality
than most in the industry - he has never been interested in
what sells to the masses but, rather, what moves him to reaction.
That reaction has created several of the most memorable sounds
to date, as well as inspired some of the largest names in the
business to recognize him as perhaps the most influential A&R
man ever. |
