If Hendrix and Cobain are the kings of Seattle, then Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson are the unquestioned queens. Their potent brand of female-powered, Zeppelin-inspired hard rock has been a dominant force in music for decades and they continue to influence generations of musicians and songwriters who weren’t even born when they released their classic debut, ‘Dreamboat Annie’, in 1976. Ann Wilson wore this beaded cape on stage during the group’s late-‘70s heyday.

Bob Dylan

This felt hat was owned and worn by the one and only Bob Dylan.

Martin D-15 Guitar

This Martin D-15 acoustic guitar was played on stage by Chris Martin of Coldplay. It was damaged in concert, so the entire band signed the guitar and made it a part of the Hard Rock collection.

Cort Punisher Bass

Legendary KISS bassist Gene Simmons played this Cort Punisher bass on stage when the band performed in Brisbane, Australia on March 12, 2013.

Jimi Hendrix

Handwritten Lyrics

Hendrix jotted these lyrics down on a Hotel Navarro envelope in New York in the late ‘60s.

Katy Perry

International pop megastar Katy Perry wore this vintage tuxedo when she appeared on the ‘Ellen Show’ on January 25, 2012.

Lady Gaga

Boot Covers

International pop megastar Lady Gaga wore these sequined boot covers during a photo shoot for the March 2014 issue of ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ magazine.

Handwritten Note

This handwritten page contains some of Madonna’s stage notes from the rehearsals for her 2001 ‘Drowned World’ tour. It’s a great example of how involved she is with each element of her production.

Nana Mouskouri

Born in Crete and raised in Athens, Nana Mouskouri is not only the best-selling Greek singer of all time; she’s quite possibly the best-selling female singer who ever lived. Through her 50-year career, Nana recorded albums in more than ten languages and sold over 300 million records. That’s an extraordinary achievement, but when you hear Nana sing it’s not surprising. Here’s a pair of her trademark glasses, signed by the diva herself.

Nicki Minaj

Hip hop provocateur Nicki Minaj owned and wore this Alexander McQueen dress. She tweeted a photo of herself wearing it in March of 2013 when she was a judge for the ‘American Idol’ television program.

Top Hat

Barbadian pop superstar Rihanna wore this velour top hat on stage when she performed in New York’s Times Square on New Year’s Eve 2009.

Colombian pop sensation Shakira owned and wore this colorful dress. She donated a large portion of her personal wardrobe to the Hard Rock collection in exchange for a donation to her charity foundation, Fundación Pies Descalzos.

The Rolling Stones

Legendary Stones guitarist Keith Richards wore this vest on stage in the 1970s.

ZZ Top

Drum Kit

The greatest example of rock ’n’ roll irony has got to be the fact that the only guy in ZZ Top without a beard is named Frank Beard. Beardless Frank rocked this “Toxic Waste Kit” on the Texas trio’s ‘Recycler’ tour in the early ’90s.
