Joe Lupo

Joe Lupo serves as the President of The Mirage Las Vegas, bringing more than three decades of casino gaming experience as one of the industry's most respected casino executives. He returned to the Silver State after being named President in August 2022. In his role, he leads daily operations and management for the Mirage after the historic acquisition from MGM Resorts International in December 2022.

Prior to his return to Las Vegas, Lupo served as the President of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City since November 2018, where he was responsible for all operations and management of the Atlantic City resort, set on 17 acres with 2,200 slots, 120 table games, more than 20 first-class restaurants and lounges, and leading entertainment. During his tenure, Lupo significantly grew the property’s market share, cemented the resort as a leading premier entertainment destination and earned top employer recognition in the State of New Jersey, according to Forbes.

Before relocating to Atlantic City, Lupo spent two years as President of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa where he led the most profitable casino in the Western Hemisphere. He spent 30 years with Boyd Gaming, working with Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City in various senior executive roles in gaming and non-gaming departments.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Lupo worked at various Boyd Gaming properties in Las Vegas and Laughlin, Nevada, including the former Stardust Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, where he served as the director of the race and sports book.
